“My trusts were done (poorly) twenty years ago. I am twenty years older and feel much more mortal. Almost every trustee and beneficiary on the trusts were gone or as good as gone and I needed an update or new trust. I did not wish to go to Century City or downtown to a 30 story office building with mahogany and leather. I wanted someone with whom I could speak comfortably, for reasonable $$. Someone who does this stuff for individuals every day and has done thousands. Yup, I researched and found the holy grail of trust lawyers.... Maria N. Jonsson. Bright, personable, self made and accessible. If I could only spell her name correctly without looking it up every time I would say she is the perfect lawyer! She did a wonderful job for me. Helped me to take my weirdly constructed outdated trusts (yes, more than one... not sure why we did that twenty years ago) and brought them up to date. I had considered doing it myself with online programs but boy I'm glad I didn't. Too tough to do it right. I think I've said enough.
